Ironman in Training...the clock is ticking!!!

Ain't that the truth!!!

This is Geoff in front of the finish line the day before the race! He is hoping to finish aroung 6 pm on the day of the race! The race starts at 7 am and he will be going nonstop until he crosses this finish line!!!

This is what Geoff will look like on the day of the race! Here he is on a short ride from the house we are staying in to the main part of town where the race will start and end, also refered to as "Ironman Village" this time of year! He had to drop his bike and all his gear off the afternoon before at the "Ironman Village"

This is about 16 hours before the start of the race!!

Hopefully he will be smiling tomorrow when he is riding his bike in the hot sun!

We drove the bike course on Thursday and found that he will have no relief from the hot sun by shade! Pure heat and humidity the whole 112 miles...

This is a picture of the Ironman Symbol on Geoff's ankle...also known as "M Dot".

It's just a temporary tattoo...he wanted to show some added spirit for the race!
