The latest news

Well, both Brian and Jami were able to fly with the baby into Salt Lake yesterday morning. They made it to the hospital and it sounds like Ezra was seen by the doctors right away. As of right now the baby has been having lots of tests run...genetic testing, echocardiogram, esophagus and throat exams, nasal exams, x-rays, and so forth. He is also scheduled to have a sleep study done on Monday. There will be no surgery scheduled for this week. So he will most likely be having his first surgery done sometime next week. The syndrome that Ezra has is called Pierre Robin Sequence. If you want to know more about it you can go to www.pierrerobin.org. Thank you again for all your concern...Brian and Jami really appreciate all the prayers.

Thanks for the update. Glad they both got to go. Let me know if they need help with the other two kids.

Thanks for keeping us updated Amber. We are so worried and very prayerful! Should we have a special fast for them?

That sounds like a good idea Emily. I think we should fast this sunday for them.

I was thinking we should have a whole ward fast for them...it helped years ago when another baby was born in the ward with problems. He's now a strapling 15 year old!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family!
