Welcome to The MAWMA Blog (Monte, Amber, Wyatt, Megan, and Alton). We thought that this would be something that we could share with our friends and family to help keep us more connected, especially with those that we don't get to see very often. We have fun putting this together and hope that you can enjoy looking at it!!

Moderate bed rest? Now what does that "really" mean?
Well, the doc put me on moderate bed rest until 36 weeks...which is ten weeks from now! I'm a little confused about the whole thing but just know that I am supposed to slow down and take it easy. This means no traveling, exercising, no long shopping trips even to the grocery store, no lifting, and lots of other similar stuff. It kind of stinks! However, I do believe that I have the ideal situation for having to be considered somewhat on bed rest! The hardest thing is not being able to pick Wyatt up and having to explain that to him. He is slowly starting to get it. All in all the baby is doing well and right on target with its growth. Hopefully things will continue to progress the way they have up to this point...and I'm sure they will as long as I am following doctors orders!!

I'm so glad you liked the cupcake. I had so many left over! Cute baby pictures! Jen and I decided it's our goal to look like you when we're pregnant. You are so cute!
Amber- bed rest sucks! At least you can get up and walk around! All I could do was go to the bathroom and that's it. Consider yourself lucky that it's not too strict!!
I was on strict bed rest for 5 weeks and you know how that is not fun but then I was pretty much on the same restrictions as you for a month and I thought it was pretty nice. It was like a vacation for me because I could do lots of stuff but still couldn't work or grocery shop or drag Dylan around. Hopefully you wil enjoy it and find things to keep you busy.
Yea, this was the kind I was on too for most of my pregnancy...it's weird now that I can do everything I couldn't do before...it makes you appreciate being able to really use your body again. You are such a cute preggo lady! Hang in there...you're a champ.
