The joys of owning your own home

When we first moved into our house about 2 1/2 years ago the first thing I wanted to get rid of was a huge cottonwood tree in our backyard! I hate cottonwoods and there was no way I was going to keep that beautiful but trashy tree in our yard. So last year we had the tree cut down and then just today we finally had the stump removed! The stump was huge and just made the yard look awful especially after many attempts of trying to dig it out...which was not going to happen! I saved some money that I was able to earn myself until we had enough to have 3 stumps around our yard removed. Some girls save up there money for a new pair of shoes but I hated looking at that huge stump in our yard so it was definately worth the money we paid for them all to be gone! Now we can get our yard underway and hopefully get some grass planted! I also don't have to worry anymore about kids falling into the trench that was dug around the stump. This may be fairly boring to those who are reading this, but it's actually pretty exciting for us!
